Acid Etching Concrete Countertops

- Always wet the piece with water before applying the acid.
- Start with a 10 to 1 acid dilution
- Begin at the bottom and work upwards to prevent streaking
- Go over the piece a 2nd time for a deeper exposure
- Rinse with 10-1 ammonia then clean water
- Leave the surface as-is, or hand sand it with 400 grit sandpaper to even out a deeper exposure
